Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support a Department of Defense client in assisting senior level personnel, middle management and junior personnel with providing innovative business strategies, agile procurement solutions, and developing and implementing the agency procurement policy/processes.

Operates independently or in direct support of the Project/Program Manager.
Participates in all phases of the project including providing research, lending technical expertise and assistance in project management, contracts acquisitions, and procurement.
Coordinates activities of contractor personnel.
Ability to multi-task and set priorities within a team environment. Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
Assists in defining scope of the project and delivers ideas and solutions for project resolution.
Provides advice and assistance to functional area technical experts (COR and program offices) on contractual matters in the acquisition planning stages based on a working knowledge of regulation policy.
Responsible for the planning, preparing and maintaining of the current acquisition plans and overall program office acquisition administration functions to include program control and tracking.
Assists with the development of writing performance criteria and requirements into sound/sufficient Statement of Work and/or task orders.
Performs or evaluates market research and trends, conditions and technological advances as they apply to the program.
Assists with the development of source selection evaluation criteria.
Assists in the development of independent Government Cost Estimates.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
TS/SCI clearance
6+ years? experience
Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) and contract administration
Ability to work independently and in a team on very complex acquisitions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, including SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of DIA and/or Intelligence contracting community highly desired
