Lead and supervise planning, coordinating, instructing, evaluating and advising Program of Instruction for Multi-functional Logistics (S-4) and Sustainment, including healthcare operations and logistics. Supervise/Leads section consisting of 02 Saudi Asst. Trainers/ Interpreter/ Translators responsible for coordinating and resolving issues concerning conduct of overall organizational functional logistics/sustainment training program(s). Responsible for assisting Military Field Medical Command (MFMC) and Ministry of National Guard (MNG)-wide Units in developing, monitoring, and maintaining sustainable and functional logistics programs. Manage and maintains readiness assessment data that documents and supports unit progress. Train, coach, and assists with in-depth analysis of the entire healthcare sustainment system/process from unit-level to MNG corporate-level. Provides subject matter expertise in multi-functional logistics programs and medical operations, to include disaster management. Provides program/project management of the National Guard Health Affairs system-wide material management information system / modernization program (e.g. ORACLE or system of choice). Performs tactical-level medical operations duties as required. Maintains current medical logistics credentialing and expertise by attending professional training and/or conferences as required.
1.Leads training on Tactical, Operational and Strategic level Multi-functional logistics; Supervising development and execution of MNG logistics training in support of the PWS.
2.Trains, coaches and mentors the development of training plans and programs for the MFMC, its subordinate units Kingdom-wide.
3.Trains, coaches and mentors other medical/non-medical units/elements assigned to the MNG, Kingdom-wide as required and directed by Manager, HAD and Manager, MTB.
4.Integrates and monitors execution of the system-wide medical material management information system / logistics modernization program (e.g. ORACLE or SAP) within the MFMC and National Guard Health Affairs.
5.Provides multi-functional logistics/operational training on Disaster Management plans in accordance with MNG Doctrine.
6.Serves as point of contact for external training support for medical assistance program activities, such as Readiness Assessments.
7.Monitors effectiveness indicators of unit sustainment training programs and recommends action to correct shortcomings or deficiencies.
8.Responsible to the MTB Manager for the development of system efficiencies of military training development, required curriculum development, compliance with performance plan and coordinating sections quarterly objectives.
9.Provides training assistance to MNG Health Affairs organizations, as directed or requested.
10.Ensures that contractor training activities within MTB comply with current MNG doctrine, policies, and procedures.
11.Ensures current US doctrine is available for integration into modernization program training, publications, and policies.
12.Ensures training programs and recommendations focus on USG guidelines for individual training, material readiness, staff coordination, planning and reporting, military education, and collective training.
13.Trains, coaches, and assists MFMC principals in supply and equipment acquisition, resource forecasting, budget development, and related management processes.
14.Maintains professional certification/credentialing by attending training, courses, seminars, and/or conferences within the field of certification/credentialing.
15.Performs other duties as required or assigned.
A. Education: BS in Education, Health Care Management, Logistics or related fields. Graduate of Command and General Staff College or Service equivalent. Medical Service Corps Field Grade Officer (70K) with AMEDD Captains Career Course or Service level equivalent school graduate.
B. Experience: Ten (10) years of progressive experience in U.S. Military at Brigade or higher level, to include time as a Medical Company Commander, and command/staff medical logistics experience.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Extensive knowledge and working experience with U.S. Army Combat Health Logistics; Must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of Combat Health Service Support doctrine, tactics, and techniques. Must be knowledgeable of the continuum of health care from the point of injury to fixed treatment facilities. Must have the ability to express thoughts/concepts clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Must possess a working knowledge of U.S. Military Systems Approach Training to include instructional techniques and procedures. Must be proficient in MS Office suite. Must possess a valid driver?s license.
