Position Description
• 5 years’ experience informing and briefing members of DoD on the historical, political, military, cultural, religious, and economic conditions and factors of Afghanistan
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any field or an Associate’s degree in Middle Eastern studies
6 months experience working in Afghanistan as a Cultural Advisor within the past 3 years.
1 year experience working on the staff of or a supporting element of a SOJTF.
3 years’ experience briefing and preparing written products for senior leaders (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level)
Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access
GS-13 Equivalent
This is a part time position located at the Military Support Element, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina
