Description: This position oversees the daily operations of the Lockheed Martin AeroParts, Inc. (LMAPI) facility in Johnstown, PA. Sets the strategic direction for the site, new business pursuits, and performance to programs of record. The Johnstown location is a vital component to F-35 and C-130J programs. The director role is critical in establishing a culture of accountability and transforming the work environment to one of positive employee relations.

Responsible to direct the daily operations of the LMAPI satellite facility. This includes all aspects of the company, including P&L responsibility.

Provides daily direction to multi-disciplined organizational team consisting of Production Operations, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, Configuration Management, Engineering, Finance and Business Operations, Safety and collaboration with Human Resources, including staffing and tools required for successful program execution. Establish and maintain positive relationship with local, regional, and national Union Leadership. Develop organizational capability, succession plans, and growth paths for employees. Serves as Lockheed Martin's executive representative within the local community and collaborates with other executives representative to the State of Pennsylvania.

? Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: ? Self-starting Individual with strong leadership qualities that can effectively manage a team with minimal oversight.
? Knowledge of multiple aircraft platforms (C-130, C-5, F-16, F-35) and Sub Assembly and Component Assembly experience.
? Ability to implement cross?program communication and ensure best practice identification and communication across platforms.
? Previous experience in managing a Union organization or company.
? Track record of successful product delivery to customers/clients.
? Experience leading large enterprise mission based initiatives.
? Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team in technical and leadership development.
? Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matter / solutions with senior leadership.
? Demonstrated knowledge of Culture of Accountability tools and techniques
Basic Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in a related field with 10+ years industry experience.
? Mid-management or executive leadership experience in managing a multi-organizational team and/or a company with full financial responsibility.
? Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures
