As a Recruiting Talent Advisor you will be responsible for partnering with business and human resource leaders to deliver strategic recruiting solutions designed to attract this top quality talent. You will develop and foster meaningful relationships to ensure a clear understanding of the strategic direction of our business and develop plans to effectively source talent to meet our current and future business needs.
Additionally, the Recruiting Talent Advisor is responsible for maintaining expertise in and upholding the integrity of Nestle Purina?s candidate assessment process to include: resume screening, advanced competency based phone interviewing, presenting candidates to the hiring team, behavior based interviewing, and facilitating offer selection. The Recruiting Talent Advisor is also responsible for delivering an excellent candidate experience; strategically identifying candidate needs, advising on appropriate offer presentation, and closing the offer to attain top quality talent in a highly competitive market. Finally, this role is responsible for partnering with the employment branding and sourcing functions to properly market and proactively source and pipeline talent as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop recruitment strategies for assigned positions including developing and activating candidate pipelines, leveraging cutting edge technology and research, and social media/search engine channels to address high volume and hard to fill positions.
Leads and maintains responsibility for the integrity of the talent assessment process including resume screening, advanced competency based phone interviews, consensus meetings, and hiring decisions
Maintains general and functional market expertise and leverages this knowledge to develop best in class recruitment strategy
Become a subject matter expert in assigned customer functional areas including industry trends, job knowledge, organizational structure, and ongoing business strategy in order to support internal customer needs
Serves as a key influencer building strategic partnerships and leveraging data and research to achieve quality of hire, time to fill, cost per hire, customer and candidate satisfaction.
When necessary, manage up, hold hiring managers and sometimes senior leadership accountable for commitment to quality candidate assessment and experience.
Leads and facilitates customer strategy planning meetings, consensus meetings, and offer closing
Maintain strong partnerships and influence with business leaders, hiring managers, compensation, talent management leadership and HR Business Partners
Meets or exceeds Talent Sourcing Team metric goals
Build and maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline using research, networking, database information, etc. including developing a communication strategy to keep potential candidates engaged
Responsible for the build out and maintenance of candidate pipelines in NPPC?s CRM tool including ensuring relevant candidates are passed along to appropriate recruiters, logging candidate feedback, and future interest
Serve as candidate assessment subject matter expert and train hiring teams on the best in class recruiting process, competency selection and behavioral based interviewing
Provides best in class recruitment experiences to candidates including providing complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about Nestle Purina and the open position
Serve as an ambassador of the Nestle Purina brand to the candidate ensuring a positive experience and interaction with the company to include positive interactions, timely follow up, and delivering on our word
Shadow with business hiring managers? team/department to develop clear insights of the team culture, strengths, and gaps to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
Provided best in class recruitment experience to hiring teams including status of search, timely real time adjustments as required by the market, candidate progress, etc.
Uses effective communication, proactively keeping others informed, appropriately and professionally expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form.
Tracks and manages candidates through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Ensures OFCCP and EEOC requirements are met by the recruiting process through a thorough understanding of employment law and regulations
Perform all other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Education: Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited institution as well as :
1+ years of experience in recruiting to include assessor, recruiter or sourcer responsibilities in an agency or corporate environment.
Demonstrated ability to maintain quality relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
2+ year of experience as a recruiter developing talent sourcing solutions that align with business goals and strategy
2+ years of experience leveraging technology/social channels (such as Wanted Analytics, LinkedIn, Xray Searches) to source candidates.
1+ years of experience leveraging a recruitment CRM
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Outlook.
