Job Description Summary
Responsible for supporting a team of Brokers and Associates on the due diligence, underwriting and financial analysis of debt and equity transactions.

Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate rent rolls and operating statements of properties being considered for financing to determine feasibility and valuation
Prepare proforma statements and projections which accurately reflect past history of properties as well as current and projected future market conditions
Research, analyze and evaluate market feasibility for various real estate transactions
Review and summarize tenant leases and articulate issues/concerns in a clear and effective manner
Convey all particulars of a transaction (financial projections, market and location issues and tenant analysis, etc.) in formal written format, for financing packages presented to clients
Assist in the preparation of financing packages
Assist in conducting site inspections for loan servicing properties and lender property tours
Update various lenders lists; create loan quote grids; respond to lender requests/questions
Contact appraisers, brokers and research firms for real estate comparable information
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree required with business or finance concentration preferred
Previous real estate experience with knowledge of local commercial real estate markets beneficial
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Argus Enterprise (or other discounted cash flow program) essential
Strong internet research skills a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a timely and thorough manner
Support and prioritize workloads for several Associates and Brokers simultaneously
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Strong math and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
