The Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is seeking a highly motivatedPrincipal Principal Software Engineering Configuration Management Analyst to join our Process, Execution and Configuration Management (PECM) Team. As part of the Process, Execution and Configuration Management (PECM) Team, you will work with a variety of configuration management tools used in current industry to manage DevOPS development strategies and help develop innovative ways to employ new tools in to our development environments. You will work across all disciplines in engineering to ensure consistent implementation and execution of CM methodologies. Our department also works to prepare and deliver the infrastructure portions of the technical data packages for our products. This includes devising new and efficient ways to package large amounts of data in an automated fashion. You will explore new ways to configure tools and/or develop scripts or code to quickly and easily repeat common activities leaving you free to develop an test other technologies or methodologies to enhance the teams products and services.

Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizens with an active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.


Required Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills:

  • Bachelor degree and att least 6 years of experience working in configuration management or related engineering discipline
  • MUST have a TS/SCI clearance
  • Demonstrated mastery of configuration management concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles
  • Strong advocacy of configuration management principles and the ability to adapt them to meet mission requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new/innovative solutions
  • Ability to script in Windows and Linux
  • Proficiency in branching strategies and Implementation
  • Technical procedure development

Desired Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills (plus but not required):
  • Virtualization methodologies
  • Experience compiling custom software
  • Perl/Python development
