Raytheon Blackbird Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company's Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) division, is currently seeking a highly motivated Program Controls Analyst to join our finance team in Herndon, VA. This person will provide value-added financial planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers, Customers, and Raytheon Management using standard company tools, and in compliance with standard processes. This position will be identified as the team lead for the SMS-Services group.
?Proactively work with the Business Manager and team to successfully satisfy programmatic and financial organization objectives.
?Ensure program costs are collected correctly by maintaining active charge numbers, monitoring actual charges, and processing transfers when appropriate.
?Measure performance against established budgets and analyze variances.
?Maintain Project Tracking Spreadsheets and related documentation.
?Monitor funding status providing reliable and timely notification of funding status with line item detail.
?Prepare financial Contract Data Requirements (CDRL) for programs.
?Ensure contractual requirements are met and Customer financial deliverables are accurate and on time.
?Review and approve invoices for submission to customer. Monitor billing status and unbilled issues, work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
?Carefully monitor program revenue and profit recognition to minimize risk to the entire organization. Analyze revenue and profit risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis.
?Assist in Preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs) Cost Estimates, and Project Estimate at Completion (EACs).
?Assist non-Herndon PMs with Staff Interface Issues.
?Support audits of financial information by internal and external auditors.
?Perform additional duties as team lead. Additional duties include supporting/training junior team members, supporting leadership team with any assistance needed, and provide adhoc support for any finance related actions.
?6-8 years of relevant experience in a finance related role working in or supporting dynamic and sensitive programs
?Demonstrated ability interfacing effectively with Program Management team and other functional organizations
?Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
?Experience with numerous contract types (CPFF, CPAF, FFP, LOE)
?Prior experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel
?Strong financial/business acumen

Required Education (including Major):
?Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field (Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education)
