Position Summary

Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing plans that detail how they and their sales representatives will meet and exceed the region revenue plan. RSM will develop sales strategies and prepare budgets and forecast. RSM’s will prepare monthly reports that provide sales figures to corporate executives, as well as reports that forecast expected future revenue. RSM’s make presentations, have a good understanding of our products and service, and represent the company at various trade shows. They conduct regular sales meetings, and work with the other product line sale managers to insure as many C&J services get on location.

Key Accountabilities

  • Developing sales plans in conjunction with their sales representatives.
  • Forecasting revenue on a monthly basis.
  • Conducting business reviews and customer value presentations.
  • Managing a sales cost budget.
  • Hiring of additional sales people.
  • Coaching and training for new sales people.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Be able to analyze a customer’s business and determine what services meet their needs.
  • Ability to coach and train the sales people they hire.
  • Good working knowledge of our financial systems.

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 10 plus years’ experience in a sales or operational role, with demonstrated success.
