Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Drafting System Administrator (SR920) (Job Number:439108)
We are seeing a Computer Aided Design and Drafting System Administrator to support the Product Definition Tools and Resources department. The CAD techs in this department work mainly in the Parts Library verification/modernization area and support the design community by assisting programs and other customer with their designs to ensure they meet standards
Typical daily tasks include:
Mentoring less experienced staff and providing guidance in CAD related technical areas.
Answering and resolving PTC (CREO) CAD applications questions.
Support of PDMlink and CREO integration matters requiring expertise, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Test, configure, and deploy PTC CAD applications and associated libraries.
Collaborate with IT level support team to investigate issues.
Bachelors Degree (4 years experience in lieu of degree) and 2 years experience.
2+ years experience in Mechanical Engineering Technology or other relevant discipline.
Experience using CREO (Pro/Engineer) solid-modeling application software
Strong interpersonal skills
2+ years relevant experience related to an engineering or scientific environment
Proven interpersonal skills both oral and written within a technical setting.
Experience in applying fundamental design principles that relate to product design and manufacturing.
Experience in working with system, subsystem, or component design to support a major project or program.
Experience in manufacturing and or inspection as it applies to product drawing definition and module design.
Experience using Windchill PDMLink and other configuration management tools.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Active DOE L or Q level security Clearance or DOD equivalent.
Must be able to obtain a DOE Q level security clearance.
