What to expect:
At Nestlé, we offer a Full-Time Rotational Program designed to develop the future leaders of Nestlé in the United States. The Nestlé Sales Development Program (NSDP) is a tailored career track designed to accelerate the development and promotion of highly qualified sales professionals for advancement within the Nestlé Sales Organization (NSO). The Sales organization services three of our operating companies: Nestlé USA, Nestlé Nutrition and Nestlé Purina PetCare. This highly selective opportunity is the ideal fast track for those with long-term goals of pursuing a sales management career.
The accelerated development program provides immense opportunities to learn about Nestlé?s Brands, Categories and Channels of business. Through this rotation program, you will experience owning your own sales territory, leading a sales team and working on an important Nestlé account. After you graduate from the program, your knowledge, skills and experiences lead you to follow multiple opportunities along the NSO Career Path or with other operating companies such as Nestlé Nutrition and Nestlé Purina PetCare.
We are looking for people with the right mix of talent and enthusiasm --with proven leadership skills, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for working a in a team based environment.
Here's a breakdown of what the big picture entails for this program:
Rotation 1:Nestlé Retail Sales Representative (RSR) ? 6 month rotation.
In this role, you will immediately become a team member to a group of 10+ Retail Sales Representatives. Each team member has ownership of a specific sales territory where they are empowered to make business decisions to drive expected results. You will benefit from a structured development program, including an 8 week training program which provides both classroom and field instruction. The focus of this rotation is being an individual contributor that develops and execute retail business plans that impact their team and the Nestlé Sales organization as a whole.
Rotation 2:Direct Sales Leader-Designate (DSL-D) ? 12 month rotation.
In this role, you will be learning another part of Nestlé?s business, Direct Store Delivery (DSD). After your structured on-boarding program is completed, you will be the People Leader of a small sales team. As the leader, you will oversee day-to-day sales, sales operations, logistics, inventory, scheduling, training, and performance management for a team of employees. You will enable results through others to achieve assigned team goals. This role focuses on learning people leadership and management skills.
Program Graduation: At the completion of your second rotation, you official graduate from the Nestlé Sales Development Program and can pursue career opportunities that follow your interests. You have the option to pursue a Field Support Role or People Leader position. In either role a structured on boarding of both field and classroom learning continues. These highly sought after positions are comprehensive, interactive and strategically integrated into our Sales department The commonality is they all support a specific headquarter account team and Nestlé Divisions. Either path leverages your experiences of the previous two rotations.
We have opportunities for NSDP?s throughout the country. Relocation is required 1 ? 2 times throughout the program. Nestlé USA provides relocation support each time an employee is required to relocate.
