Description:This position will be assigned to the F-35 program on the Post Delivery Modification/Retrofit team. The primary emphasis will be to support the development of the kit tooling required for the implementation of engineering changes on SDD and post-delivery aircraft. The specific task will be to support the execution of specific structural modifications that address limited life issues across all three F-35 variants. This includes but not limited to performing producibility analysis, ordering kit tools, development of tooling concepts, performing tool design reviews, and the development of the illustrative usage instructions for installing the specific modification on a portfolio of F-35 aircraft. This assignment will also require periodic onsite support at the depot and operational levels to proof the kit tooling in preparation for the depot mod environment.

Understanding of engineering designs and principles
- Capable of working in multifunctional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint
- Proficient in interfacing with the customer directly in the areas of technical issues and impacts.
Experienced in ICA, Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis.
Experienced in the principles of LEAN, Six Sigma process.
Experience working in an aircraft post delivery and flight test environment, 5th Gen preferred to include: aircraft assembly, aircraft tooling, mechanical and/or electrical system installation and
- Able to review drawings in CATIA V5
- Knowledge in troubleshooting systems to included engineering designs for producibility.
- Experience working with VAS, JDL, PDM, ICA, SFM and QAD Systems that are utilized on the JSF
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
,- Ability to be a self-starter, who is highly motivated and can operate independently in a high-tempo environment and possesses the capacity to work in a changing environment with minimal supervision or direction.
