We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in the Saint Louis Park, MN office to support the computing infrastructure of our office and provide IT and IS support on government programs. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems, common office and IT applications, and network equipment and protocols. The Saint Louis Park office includes classified facilities and performs Government contract work, so a security clearance, Security+ certification, and a knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and or NIST 800-171 standards are a plus.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
•Laptop and desktop support
•Server organization and maintenance
•Liaison with hardware service support, network support
•Maintain inventory and government property tracking
•Maintain printers and other IT assets
•Prepare equipment for reuse or disposal
•Liaison with the BBN corporate IT personnel and other IT systems support as needed
•Supporting the duties of a Facility Security Officer (FSO).
•Coordinate physical security upgrades if/when they are necessary for new projects, e.g. establishing a SCIF
•Provisioning of secure storage capabilities in MN
•Record keeping and audit support related to secure storage and personnel files
•Ensure regular training requirements for secure personnel are met
•Monitor personnel clearance information to ensure clearances are renewed in a timely fashion
•Ability to discharge the duties of Information System Security Manager (ISSM) / Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
•Support the capability to do classified computing in MN, including potentially both Windows and Linux platforms, under the guidelines of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Required Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
•Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux Admin experience.
•Experience maintaining desktops and servers connected to large, wide-area corporate networks.
•Experience setting up and maintaining virtual machines.
•Documentation of processes
•Maintain existing IT infrastructure and help design and implement upgrades
•Ability to become certified at level commensurate with IAM Level II as defined by DoD 8570
•US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required. TS/SCI is highly desired.
•Minimum 4 year experience in a systems administrator or security role.
•Active TS/SCI clearance.
•Experience maintaining desktop and servers connected to large, wide area classified customer networks.
•Experience with PKI-secured networks and systems.
•Experience administering software development tools such as JIRA, GIT, and Subversion.
•Strong inter-personal and communication skills. Capable of writing documentation, acting as a vendor liaison, making presentations to client audiences or professional peers.
•Ability to support fast paced office and balance priorities of multiple tasks.
•Interest in learning, developing new approaches, and ability to accept responsibility for work quality.
•Experience with Atlassian tools a plus
