Job Title: Senior Programme Manager - Cyber and Intelligence

Raytheon UK is looking for a dynamic and high performing Senior Programme Manager (PM) to work within the Cyber and Intelligence Business Area.This is a complex and challenging role that will be highly rewarding and high profile, with extensive communication and interfacing with Customers, Design Authorities, other Raytheon companies and Industry stakeholders. The role will require excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of energy and stamina. The work location will primarily be based out of the Harlow facility with visits to other UK Raytheon and customer sites, with occasional International travel.
Summary of Role:
The successful candidate will be accountable for winning and executing a major 10 year UKMOD opportunity worth in excess of £300m and therefore a P&L responsibility of over £30m per annum. The opportunity relates to the Small Satellite IMINT Constellation, Constellation Evolution, Upgrades to UK Space Operations Centre (SpOC), Space Situational Awareness Analytics, and Air-Space Integration. This role is a key contributor to the Raytheon UK business plan and reports directly to the Managing Director of Cyber and Intelligence. The role includes:
·Leading a complex, high value and high visibility programme to the UK MOD, delivering a critical infrastructure solution to the UK Government.
·Establish strong and trusting relationships with our MOD Customer through delivery excellence to maximise future opportunities for Raytheon
·Working with the wider Raytheon organisation to deliver suitable solutions to deliver the required capability
·Working with Business Development to identify and secure future opportunities with existing and new customers
·Responsibility for a large multi discipline team including Engineering to ensure product development is aligned with current and emerging customer requirements
Nature and Scope:
The Senior Programme Manager shall be required to:
·Deliver a high value complex programme, reporting to the Raytheon UK Leadership.
·facilitate complex problem solving initiatives.This will require a high technical competence and ability to think strategic solutions.
·act as the interface from the programme into key product teams to ensure that the customer and programme requirements are fully understood and actioned.
·able to manage and work within agreed budgets, forecast cost to complete and identify opportunities to save costs.This will form a key measure of the success of the position.
·Identify project risks and opportunities, quantify and produce mitigation, capture and contingency plans.
·Motivate the programme team to perform and deliver requirements
·Ensure the goals/ objectives are clearly communicated, understood and executed by the programme team
·Develop strong relationships with the customers and subcontractors to ensure that they are meeting their commitments to the project.
·Established background in Space and/or Defence.

·A thorough understanding of the UK MOD customer and procurement process
·Member of a relevant Engineering or Programme Management Professional Institution.
·Experience of effective management of programmes using Earned Value Management, EVM.
·Raytheon Programme Leadership Certification Level 2.
