This Procurement Representative role will support the Space Facilities Services Team. Responsibilities will include:
? Overall management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance
? Interfacing with program functional organizations and supplier management
? Supplier source selection
? Purchase order placement, negotiations, documentation, and administration
? Support the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services
? Prepare bid packages
? Conduct bidder conferences
? Analyze and evaluate proposals
Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Desired Skills: ? Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Facilities
? 2+ years of procurement/supply chain/buying experience from statement of work (SOW) through purchase order (PO) closure
? Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
? 1+ years of experience working sustainment subcontracting tasks
? Experience and understanding of Subcontract Program Management (SPM) best practices and tools
? 1+ years of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities
? Experience with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
? Excellent organization skills
? Strong communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills
? Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivated
? Ability to negotiate terms and conditions and pricing
? Ability to solving problems
? Proficient business acumen and ability to make business based decisions
? Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment
? Ability to interpret policies/procedures and apply concepts
? Demonstrated working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)
? Ability to engage supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues
Basic Qualifications: ? 2+ years of procurement/supply chain/contract buying experience
? 1+ years of price analysis experience
? Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
? Demonstrate high levels of customer service and Executive level interactions
