Description: Inspects components, PWBs, electrical and mechanical parts, and materials for accuracy and adherence to contractual and engineering requirements. Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
Ensure all incoming materials adhere to quality inspection standards in accordance with specifications, industry standards, company drawings, established procedures, and inspection plans.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, Quality inspection procedures, Military and Industry specifications, inspection plans, and other written instructions approved by management.
Performs machine setup, conducts verification and determines quality acceptance of Company procured and Government furnished components, instruments, equipment, parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and final assemblies.
Records and maintains appropriate inspection records. Accepts and/or rejects all parts assemblies, instruments, components, or equipment as indicated by verification results. Writes non-conformance reports for customer complaints and internal product failures.
Conducts quality acceptance utilizing a wide variety of electrical/electronic verification equipment and tools and company prescribed systems and methods. Utilize XRF (verifying component finish), LCR (verifying resistance and conductance values), Vision Quest (verification of physical dimensions), and solderability testing. Conducts quality checks. Makes pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.
This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications: Computer skills are required.
Must be Solder Certified.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an electronic associate.
Currently active as an inspector for at least 6 months.
Must have the ability to work from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality inspection procedures, military specifications, MPP and other written instructions approved by managerial personnel.
Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement.
This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
