Description: Provide System Integration Test Operation Leadership to GOES program as the Mechanical Operations Team Technician Associate Manager. Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for non-exempt spacecraft technician workforce. Maintain all technician compliance training current as required per command media. Monitor technician overtime. Schedule all daily work using the technician schedule. Provide technician assignments and shift resources as necessary to meet operational requirements. Maintain FOD control throughout SSNA high-bays and provide access for visitor to controlled areas as necessary.
Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Accomplishes results through subordinates or exempt professional staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in assignments. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans. Manages the integration and testing of in-house development and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Oversees the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Directs the following activities: establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware interface problems, defining output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem per TRD (Test Requirements Document). Manages the development and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Acquires and maintains a thorough understanding of operations schedules and activities to coordinate and de-conflict activities between programs.
Desired Skills: 1. A2100 spacecraft design and/or production work experience
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) using SAP, Automation Framework (AF); their application and implementation
3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching and mentoring skills
2. Thorough understanding of ATLO Command Media,
4. Certified Test Conductor (CTC) Certification
5. Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership values
Basic Qualifications: 1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Space System Assembly, Integration and Test Operations
2. Demonstrated experience in the execution of ATLO Test Engineering Operations
3. Demonstrated experience in a lead or formal leadership role; function as self-starter; possess strong written and oral communication skills
4. Demonstrated experience working with a technical and Non-Exempt/Represented workforce
5. Understands test procedures and execution at the system level.
