Description: Assembler will build quality fiber optic cable assemblies using work instructions, visual aids, prints, drawings, etc... Operator will use a variety of equipment and test equipment to fabricate and test fiber optic cables.
Desired Skills: -Fiber optic industry certification/s.
-10+ years experience with high volume fiber optic cable fabrication.
Basic Qualifications: -Assembler should be skilled in the fabrication of fiber optic cables to include cutting, epoxy, crimping, cleaving and polishing of fiber optic connectors.
-Assembler should also be skilled in the assembly of Mil series fiber optic harnesses and connecting devices.
-Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and drawings fluently.
-Must have extreme attention to detail.
-Must be able to work in a team environment.
