The primary responsibility of this position is to support the account team by gathering, analyzing, interpreting information, data and provide solutions to serve as the basis for actionable insights to internal and external customers. Data and information include financial, shopper, category, market, etc. Develops and may present customized/tailored presentations to both internal and external customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 4 P Analysis o Identify opportunities to account team based on 4P analyses o Make recommendations based on Sales/customer results vs. expectations o Mine customer data
Sales Analysis o Provide recommendations to the account team based on analysis and interpretation of sales data o Populate and maintain internal and external scorecards/reports o Create Ad-hoc reports designed to interpret results and provide solutions o Assist in developing forecasts (i.e. special packs, new items) Presentation Development o Develop customized presentations based upon analyses o Tailor presentation based on opportunity assessment o Assist in presentations to customers as necessary
Category Analysis and Insights o Identify insights and specific opportunities based on analysis of category roadmaps/ data o Target shopper segments appropriate to the category based on analysis and understanding of the dynamics of each category segment o Assist in development of shopper and store clusters to enhance selling opportunities o Communicate actionable conclusions based on the results of analyses to customers Other Job-related Activities o Participate in customer meetings as required
EXPERIENCE: o 1-2 years of experience in Retail o 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Nielsen or IRI)

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: o 4 year degree preferred or equivalent experience
