EPS Mission Support Services Division is seeking applicants to fill multiple Technician (Electrical and Mechanical) positions, located in Panama City Beach, Florida. This position is in support of our Seaport-e Task Order supporting the Technical Engineering Department on mutliple seaport Task Orders. This position may require travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of enginnering activities. Frequesncy of Travel will vary by contract support requirements.

? Design and fabrication support for mechanical and/or electrical systems.
? Use hand tools, air tools, riveters, and/or sheet metal and machine tools such as shears, breaks, notchers, saws, milling machines, lathes, etc., as well as measuring tools, test instruments, and/or painting equipment.
? Perform routine tasks including wiring, soldering, and connecting, calibrating equipment, conducting tests, and recording test data.
? Perform standard computations.
? Apply practical knowledge of engineering and related science.
? Construct and build devices and simple equipment.
? Construct developmental and production models by following layouts and diagrams.
? Conduct tests and experiments that require non-standard setups and procedures.
? Extract and compile data from field notes, technical manuals, lab reports, and bench tests.
? Work from, and assist in the development of, engineering drawings, test plans, and other technical documents.
? Develop information about operational failures and modifications.
? Select data presentation methods and prepare reports that include schematics and drawings.
? Complete task reports and other supporting documents and forms.
? Support preparation, assembly/disassembly, maintenance, test and/or troubleshooting procedures.
? Contribute to the installation, integration, operation, testing, overhaul, reconditioning, and maintenance of relevant U.S. Navy systems and equipment.
? Prepare and edit technical documentation including Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
? Requires a minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
Other Considerations:
? Knowledge of U.S. Navy Mine Warfare and MCM systems desired.
? Experience with depot-level repair and refurbishment of U.S. Navy Mine Warfare and other MCM equipment desired.
? Experience with installation and integration of shipboard equipment desired.
