Nestlé PURINA PetCare Company currently has openings for Reserve Pool Operators in our Production/Packing/Warehouse areas.

? The Reserve Operator position is the feeder group for all Operator positions within the various production/warehouse departments including Unloading, Processing, Packing, and Warehouse

? Reserve Operators should be comfortable working with computers and manufacturing related software

? Reserve Operators will be trained to run production lines, serve as backup in running the machinery and equipment, and operating a forklift in Unloading, Packing, Processing and Warehouse areas

? The Reserve Operators will learn to perform an in-depth cleaning of the equipment

? The Reserve Operator position is also designed to be a member of a reactive team to deal with unforeseen issues that may arise throughout a normal operating day as well as cover for vacations and other Operator absences as

appropriate

Primary responsibilities for selected Reserve candidates at Nestlé Purina include but are not limited to the following:

? Provide support to Operators in Unloading, Processing and Packing

? Provide support to Operators in our Warehouse

? Performing regulated sanitation requirements

? Completing micro-bacterial corrective actions

? Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

 

? Must have a high school diploma or GED

 

? Prefer at least 1 year of work experience, preferably in the field of manufacturing, food handling/food safety, or operating

machinery

 

? Must exhibit the following competencies:

Dependability, Teamwork, Working Safely, Productivity, and Decision Making

Ability.

 

? Must possess basic math, writing and computer skills

 

? Must be able to read, write and speak English

 

? Must be able to work any shift, including alternate schedules and on weekends

 

? Must be willing to work overtime, either 4 hours before/after shift, holidays and weekends
