The Sr. Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the operational field support of the Total Asset Visibility (TAV) Website. This role requires minimal supervision and is an individual that will oversee the processing of maintenance and supply data associated with the operation of fielded PM EO/IR-FP family of system assets using the TAV website.

The role includes insuring compliance with standard operating procedures, and gathering user and business requirements for updates to applications and processes as well as initiating material shipments, RMAs, and inventory tracking.

This role will require maintaining accurate data related to maintenance events, equipment configuration, part failure information, supply information, and periodic inventory audits. This role is responsible for providing assistance in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support data. This role participates in the analysis of technical data and supply reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements.

This position will be located in one theatre location for up to sixteen months to support system sustainment, training, and inventory supply support.

Required Skills:
At least 4years of providing logistics and system maintenance support of technical hardware and software, and/or military related experience

Working knowledge with Total Asset Visibility (TAV) website or like application for supply and maintenance tracking.

Understanding of the logistics process in providing field support.

Energetic professional, who can coordinate and interface effectively at all levels of the organization, across a multi-contractor and government workforce.

Ability to research complex customer problems and provide technical, process and/or training solutions, including networking, database management and software requirements.

Ability to isolate problems and initiate solutions in a timely manner is expected.

Generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to the customer is also required.

Mid-level training in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint

Candidate must possess sufficient professional competence to operate independently within a broad scope of authority and with minimal supervision.

Experience with International on-site support.

  • Experience with regulatory requirements, and ability to audit systems to ensure compliance.
Candidate must currently have or be eligible to obtain a SECRET Security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.

Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, ability to obtain a secret security clearance, background checks, physical to be deployed overseas and drug screens.

Ability to travel or deploy on long term assignment to support program support and execution.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working within company and/or government owned contractor operated logistics facilities a plus.
  • Current (or recently inactive) SECRET security clearance

Required Education (including Major): Bachelor?s Degree in information systems management, engineering or related technical field of study or equivalent combination of education and work experience, providing logistics and system maintenance support of technical hardware and software, and/or military related activities.
