Position Description Summary

The Deployment Specialist supports preparing and placement of personnel for DOS OCONUS projects. The Deployment Specialist reports to the Director of Deployments and coordinates with corporate departments and Project administration to: 1) ensure deploying personnel are compliant with DOS and industry standards; 2) assist with travel coordination and rotation tracking; 3) secure visas for corporate and Project personnel; and 4) assist Senior Deployment Specialist with streamlining deployment processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

? Serve as primary point of contact for personnel preparing for deployment
? Process and track LOA and CAC requests personnel
? Collect, submit and track contract arming packets
? Track deployment projections and leave rotation travel to ensure timely processing
? Coordinate with other departments to ensure deployment eligibility
? Other tasks as assigned

 

Requirements:

? Proven customer service and communications experience
? Strong writing skills and knowledge Microsoft Office to prepare reports and manage trackers
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in collaborative settings
? Willingness to work outside normal business working hours at key periods of month to process invoices (Flexible Schedule)
