GWFS, located in McLean, VA is looking for highly motivated team members dedicated to influencing change and delivering outstanding client service.  

The Deployment Supervisor is responsible for the movement and bench management of GWFS personnel to DOS and DOD projects. This position reports to the Director of Deployments and coordinates with corporate departments and Project management to: 1) ensure deploying personnel are compliant with contract and industry standards; 2) provide reports and analysis on the bench, deployment and attrition trends; 3) manage visa budget and maintain subject matter expertise on all contract locations; and 4) assist Director with staff management and streamlining of deployment processes through contract expansions.

Essential Functions
? Responsible for weekly reports on bench statuses, upcoming deployments and attrition trends
? Serve as primary point of contact for Project personnel during deployment, as well as for emergency travel coordination
? Coordinate with other department and project managers on communications and movement of personnel
? Oversee the quality and deployment eligibility of bench personnel for DOS contracts
? Work with Director of Deployments and Recruiting Manager on mobilization timelines for business development and other contract proposals
? Manage visa processing and budget, and reconcile travel invoices
? Maintain subject matter expertise on visa and travel requirements for all contract locations

Supervisory Functions
? Carry out supervisory and coaching responsibilities for Deployment staff in accordance with organization policies and applicable laws
? Train, manage and conduct performance appraisals for staff responsible for deployments, LOAs submissions and visa processing
? Develop and QA/QC policies and processes for Deployment staff
 

Requirements:

? Associates or Bachelor?s degree, or equivalent work experience
? Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience, preferably in the military, government contracting or related industry
? Minimum 2-3 years in a managing/supervisory role
? Strong writing and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
? Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings,

? Minimum 2-3 years? experience working on WPS contracts is highly desirable, but not required
? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Ability to provide mobilization strategies in support of proposals and business development
? Adaptable to change with strong aptitude for problem solving and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to negotiate with others across organization
