Position:  Site Supervisor (SS)

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan

FLSA Status: Full Time

 

Position Summary: Responsible for supervising Senior Guards at Entry Control Points. 

 

Essential Functions:

A.  On-site supervision of a group of guards or a specific sector or function of the guard program. 

B.  Ensures all assigned guard posts are staffed, monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel.

C.  Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders.


Non-Essential Functions:

Requirements:

Crucial Requirements:

 

A.  US citizen/TCN/LN, as specified in the task order.

B.  Level three (3) English language proficiency.

C.  Must possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience as a military officer or NCO (at US E-6 or above or equivalent), or equivalent law enforcement/armed commercial guard force supervisory experience.

D.  Experience must include physical security, access control, and force protection, and must be similar in complexity and scope to the specific requirements of the task order.

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands listed below, though not fully inclusive, must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time. 
  • The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • The employee will work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
  • Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
