Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


? Oversees C&W Services health and safety programs and ensure we are in compliance with the Client?s health and safety programs.

? Coordinate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short and long term strategic safety planning and development.

? Conducts on-going training regarding safety for all employees.

? Conduct routine safety meetings to ensure all employees are aligned with our safety policies.

? Organizes a Safety Committee within the Account.

? Ensures the sites are in compliance with OSHA standard regulations from a safety stand point.

? Partner with the rest of the management staff to conduct safety investigations and assessments.

? Recognizing potential hazards within the facility.

? Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.

? Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.

? Execute any required local and state permits.

? Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.

? Environmental and HAZ 40 certification


· Supervises the overall activities of maintenance and supervises personnel form a safety point of view.

· Daily audits of Maintenance Team Work Order assignments, queue and ensures tasks are properly performed.

· Establishes/maintains work performance standards

· Conducts quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory as well as general use of equipment

· Participates in ongoing management/technical skill development training programs

· Conducts orientation of employees, develops employee skills/abilities and performs evaluations of technical skillset progression.

· Conducts audits of technician work areas such as seating area, mechanical spaces, equipment areas etc.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Strong organizational skills

· Skilled in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, and in developing and maintaining positive relations with others.

· Proficient in PC computer software.


? Qualified individual must have at least three years of related experience.

? Understanding of FDA requirements for required documentation.

Education (Preferred)

? Bachelor?s degree in business management or related discipline, or a combination of education and related work experience.

? 7-10 years of experience in handling the responsibilities outlined aboveCertificates, Licenses, Registration
