Digital Forensics Analyst (and Team Lead) Duties include:

- Lead a small team of specialized engineers performing engineering and analysis of traditional and non-traditional systems in support of HQ US Cyber Command.
- Create highly accurate replications of data and software.
- Capture and preserve all data artifacts associated with traditional and non-traditional systems.
- Develop and maintain storage plan that facilitates data retrieval and further analysis
- Create complete physical characterization of the data system using various means, such as photographs, measurements of weight/dimension, input/output attributes, and other relevant metrics.
- Conduct a thorough review of documentation related to traditional and non-traditional data systems.
- Conduct an initial, lightweight assessment of any malware on the data system.



- Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.


- Must have active TS with SCI and be willing and able to pass a polygraph prior to starting.


- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering; Computer Engineering, Data Science, or similar and at least fourteen (14) years of relevant experience.
- Experience analyzing Windows, Linux, Proprietary Firmware, 32 and 64-bit ARM Chipsets, VMware, and unique MODBUS, 61850, and DNP3 SCADA/ICS.
- Strong familiarity with open source and proprietary tools and resources such as WindowsSCOPE, Dumpit, Fastdump, LiME, Xen, Qemu, EnCase, Quincy, Volatility Framework, or Forensic Explorers Strong familiarity with file system structures and systems such as FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, TFAT, NTFS, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, Next3®, CDFS/ISO9660/Joliet, UDF, and SCADA/ICS unique file systems.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and creative problem solving skills; written and oral communication skills; and work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills
