Description:The Specialist Section Lead is responsible to provide the day to day oversight and leadership for the first line E&E, avionics and engine shops. The Lead must have the ability to train, guide, and mentor Lockheed Martin employees, and the IQAF customer. This position reports to the Program’s Generation Manager.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting. Assignment location is in Iraq.

This assignment will be in direct support of the customers flying hour activities. Candidates must be willing and able to participate/assist with day to day operations and/or problems which may present themselves. Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons. Site is a secure compound which team members will be confined to. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must.

*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

*SECURITY Clearance REQUIRED. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance AND must maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have held a USAF 5-level or equivalent in a specialist section element [Avionics, Engines, or Electrical & Environmental]

Must have at least 10 year’s hands on experience in relevant F-16 aircraft maintenance areas

Must have progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment.

Must have documented experience as a supervisor or shop lead.

-Basic Microsoft Office Applications [Excel, Power Point]

- Ability to analyze and present data

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Experience with training and leadership in a culturally diverse environment
Desired Skills:
USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in career field
FCC GROL or A&P license
Experience working with Sortie Generation in the production of maintenance activities and sorties
Training Instructor or similar position held with emphasis on documentation
Experience working with an international customer, C.O.R [Contract Office Representatives], F.S.E/P.S.E [Field or Product Service Representatives], Q.A. [Quality Assurance]
Ability to capture matrix points or highlights
Good interpersonal/people skills
Effective problem solver with little to no supervision required
