Assists in the coding and maintenance of utility programs, job control language and input/output handling programs, as well as other software of minimal complexity. Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware and software operating systems for the organization's products. May assist in the maintenance of program libraries and technical manuals. Attends on-going training sessions to achieve a higher level of technical skill.

Our engineering team supporting Combat Integration and Identification Systems has immediate openings for entry-level Systems Engineers. The positions are located at a US Navy facility in Southern Maryland in support of Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF) technology and involve direct customer interaction and cross-organization teamwork. The successful candidate must be willing to locate to St. Mary’s County, Maryland and either possess, or can obtain, at minimum, a Secret security clearance.
• ABET accredited degree in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical)
• Breadth of technical knowledge covering electronics, mechanical, and computer science disciplines, typically demonstrated through collegiate engineering project experience, and the ability to explain how relevant experience has prepared the candidate for success in a professional engineering environment
• Demonstrated written communications ability above what is normally expected of an entry-level engineer;
• Leadership potential beyond what is typically expected of an entry-level engineer typically demonstrated through collegiate leadership experience and professional demeanor.
