d) Manage Knowledge Management Support Services – Records Management Requirement Serves as continuous interface with DTRA customers, vendors, and all Agency departments to oversee technical and quality problems and resolutions. Advising leadership on future of evolving KM environment
e) Promote knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems by, among others, strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information systems, and improving integration among information systems in the organization, to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems;
f) Promote collaborative tools such as activity rooms to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners;
g) Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one- on-one guidance, and troubleshooting;
h) Share experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing, including preparation of case studies;
i) Help monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities;
j) Help disseminate information about the organization's knowledge sharing program to internal and external audiences, including organizing knowledge sharing events (such as knowledge fairs, site visits, interviews), maintaining communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations.
k) Communications - Ability to get consensus and collaboration across many business units; ability to explain complex concepts in layman's language;
l) Server as a knowledge manager with expert focus on Information Technology and Sharepoint design.
m) Advises senior leadership on best practices of SharePoint use to include content management, enhanced collaboration, and proper use of SharePoint in more effective business practices
n) Reviews and evaluates end-to-end knowledge management processes and develops SharePoint-based process improvement recommendations.
o) Develops and promotes portal best practices
p) Compile monthly activity reports and site analytic metrics outlining site usage and performs trend analysis
