ManTech is currently seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support our operations in Bremerton, WA.

General Responsibilities:

  • Guide stakeholders within defined parameters related to specific Technology Controls and Information Security programs, policies, standards and incidents
  • Assist with assessments related to risk, controls, implemented control procedures, vulnerability etc
  • Contribute to risk and control design assessments for an assigned business application, business portfolio, articulate and document control gap impact both to the business and enterprise-wide
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Duties and responsibilities of the Cyber Security Workforce for DOD

Mandatory Skills Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with implementing or monitoring information security and compliance with DOD system settings and processes
  • Participate in security management strategy and framework development
  • Support technology processes, help launch governance practices to monitor, detect, prevent and react to current and emerging security threats
  • Support development of technology risk reporting, monitoring key trends and defining metrics to measure control effectiveness
  • Apply a teamwork philosophy with technology and partners, service or platform owners to integrate all technology security components and address control gaps
  • Research and investigate regulatory compliance requirements, reporting and questions, support the team in resolving compliance, audit and regulatory issues
  • Participate in computer security incident responses enterprise wide and represent your respective position to the business while conveying their needs to the incident response team
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, technology control standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Contribute to internal activity and process review, flag windows for improvement
  • Follow relevant enterprise frameworks and methodologies
  • Influence behavior to reduce risk, foster a strong technology risk management culture
  • Support development and/or implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize security, service availability, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assess, identify and escalate issues appropriately where required
  • Has developed and/or maintained system documentation and standards
  • Review of complex IT related data from multiple sources and determining relevant information
  • Experience in monitoring system resource utilization to detect and solve problems that are about to occur
  • The candidate‚Äôs analytical approaches and results are generally reviewed for technical and professional adequacy
  • Ability to draft, edit, and disseminate written reports and status updates
  • Ability to maintain relationships with customers with diverse needs
  • Provide technical or complex information about products and services
  • Ability to assess customers' needs and identify or tailoring products and services to meet them
  • Ability to resolve complex or non-routine issues
  • Ability to explain moderately complex ideas or information clearly
  • Skilled in listening to others and recognizing potential miscommunications
  • Skilled in identifying and solving problems by gathering and applying information from a variety of materials or sources
  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance
  • COMPTIA Security+
