Description:
The developer will possess a strong problem solving skill set and the ability to learn new technologies quickly to meet dynamic development cycles.
Provide fabrication, integration, production and installation in support of future antenna system design, customization and integration using 5G technology. The Line of Sight (LOS) antenna systems are intended for RF Communications and Wireless Mobile Networking. The effort will develop infrastructure with associated hardware and software components, including wireless networking, and tactical communications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, code, integrate, and test software and hardware on Government owned workstations and platforms in Government spaces.
- Changes to software notated within the code in order to support maintenance at a later date.
- Improving position/location when GPS is denied.
- Provide Linux operating system expertise to update and address existing software application interface issues.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field plus two+ years
- Recent experience with Java application design, development, testing, debugging and fixing.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with RF communications or communications and networking.
- Experience using 5G technology.
- Configuration management experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
