Raytheon is looking for a Senior Counsel, reporting directly to the Vice President, Legal/General Counsel of a major Business segment within Raytheon Company called Space and Airborne Systems otherwise known as SAS. The position will include a full range of in-house legal services including contracts negotiation advice, litigation management, support to international contract formation and negotiation, compliance, particularly in the areas of import/export, government certifications, anti-corruption, and antitrust
Position will be located in Marlboro, Massachusetts.
·Juris Doctorate degree from a top law school, and at least 8 years law firm or in-house legal experience in litigation, government and commercial contracting, and related matters.
·Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation
·Member in good standing of a state bar.
·Proactive, well organized temperament with ability to juggle many matters.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Meticulous attention to detail.
·Integrity, leadership, analytical, and motivational skills; and will be a team player. She or he will be a strategic planner, proactive, a decision-maker, and a problem solver who drives matters to timely conclusions.
·Familiarity with work in a global context.
·Substantial experience in managing or personally conducting litigation before Courts, administrative forums and/or alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
·Ability to travel.
·Ability to obtain and retain a TS/SCI security clearance
·Defense contracting and law firm experience
