Supervisor, Procurement Logistics
Under broad direction, interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments.
Plan, organize, and supervise the preparation and execution of unit movement and distribution operations.
Coordinate deployment and distribution actions with multinational, joint, Army, and commercial agencies. Prepare and validate deployment and redeployment plans, orders, and SOPs.
Plan and conduct training in unit move operations.
Plan & supervise the use of TC-AIMS II to document Army deployment, redeployment, & distribution operations.
Must have a thorough understanding of the strategic deployment process.
QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS REQUIREMENTS – EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Skills are typically acquired through 8
years combined commercial & military transportation/logistics experience (Military Occupational Specialty of Transportation Management Coordinator -- 88N; Mobility Officer-- 882A).
Minimum 2-3 years of supervising TC-AIMS II Ops Strong preference will be given to applicants with experience supporting OIF/OEF military deployment/redeployments.
Background within the Surface Deployment Distribution Command (SDDC) or Division Transportation Office (DTO) organization is also strongly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR 4500.9-R) is a plus.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
Final Secret Security clearance is required (interim clearance is not acceptable).
