Job Description:

The Qatar Patriot Training Device Operator duties will include, operations, set up, and perform maintenance, fault isolate, and repair on multiple Patriot Training Systems which include the Communication Operator trainer (COT), Engagement Control Station PMT, Launcher PMT and Radar PMT. This position is CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD and will be located in Qatar with initial on-boarding and training located in Lawton, OK.


The Training Device Operator is responsible for performing routine maintenance, full system testing, emergency maintenance, repair and replacement of all PMT/COT equipment. The Training Device Operator is also responsible for installation of the PMT systems which also include On-The-Job Training for Qatari personnel on the operation and maintenance of the PMT/COT equipment.

Required Skills:

A minimum of 4 years of Experience in Patriot Tactical Operations at the Battalion or higher level. Coordination of instructor and student personnel on use of Patriot Training Devices, ensuring that all scheduled training is supported and training objectives are met. Must have successfully completed MOS 25A/25U/140A conducted under the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or an equivalent course of instruction conducted by the Patriot Missile System Contractor. Must have experience using the UNIX and Windows Computer operating systems. Must have an active DOD Secret security clearance. Must be able to obtain Qatar work visa.
Desired Skills:
Must have completed one of the following US Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training courses: Patriot Communications Specialist (25F/25U/31M/31R/31U) practical experience working with the Patriot System. Active DOD Secret Clearance Experience with PATRIOT Communications systems to include, AN/GRC-245 UHF Radios, CISCO 4500 Router, Integrated Digital Operator Control System (IDOCS), Red Patch Panel, Routing Logic Radio Interface Unit (RLRIU), and Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) a plus. Familiarity with Instructional Systems Development (ISD) and Standard Approach to Training (SAT) a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers.

Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor’s degree. Work experience may be accepted in lieu of BA/BS education requirement.
