Assists the General Foreman by providing input to identify key success factors for Maintenance Mechanics. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of Maintenance Mechanic services, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction cost. Evaluates Maintenance Mechanic service execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on to go scope. Maintains the short range look ahead plans and discusses all deviations with the General Foreman. Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour budget for installation process develops an equipment and tool requirement plan and reviews it with the General Foreman.


Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Maintenance Manager.

Performs organizational level and direct support maintenance on US military tactical and non-tactical equipment, sub-systems, support equipment and related end item systems comprised of a wide assortment of wheel vehicles, trailers, engineering, construction and MHE equipment and various tracked vehicles. Diagnoses system malfunctions, isolate causes, and corrects deficiencies. Disassembles and reassembles equipment, according to Technical Manuals (TM), Maintenance Work Orders (MWO), drawings, schematics and custom specifications utilizing lifting devices, hand, power and pneumatic tools.

Provides oversight of the maintenance mechanics conducting Inspections, repairs, and replacement of components, engines, transmissions, and sub-assemblies. Trains/mentors mechanics in solving usual and unusual maintenance problems through analysis and troubleshooting. Identifies parts outlined in repair manuals and requisitions the required parts. Installs specified new or reconditioned parts and/or makes required adjustments and reassembles complete unit.

Completes records in GCSS-A automated system to include work orders, dispatching, parts ordering and receiving. Maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Promotes teamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process. Promotes safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations, performs other duties and activities as directed.

Additional requirements:

Must be fluent in English

Must have Five (5) years’ of experience working on U.S. military tactical vehicles.

Must possess knowledge of ability to read and understand schematics, and technical drawings.

Must possess a valid passport with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.

Must possess a home country valid driver’s license.

Must have or be able to obtain a NAC-I

Preferred qualifications and skill:

Candidates with prior Military and or LOGCAP experience in working with military equipment and environment.

Candidates with 40hrs HAZWOPER – OSHA certification.

Candidates with experience working with GCSS-A Maintenance Modules.

Candidates with knowledge of US military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards.
