Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities.

 
Coordination and Transportation - Receive incoming and prepare outgoing shipments according to standard operating procedures. Coordinates the transportation of goods through established transportation processes; arranges for transportation of material; coordinates shipment and receipt of materials; using established guidelines where possible Maintain Inventory - Perform property surveys, audits, and transfers. Also prepare material and necessary documentation for disposal. Processes inventory requests and validates receipt of goods and materials against requirements Purchasing - Submits requests for material utilizing the various sources and systems in accordance with customer requirements. Tracks the status of the requests and follows them through to completion. Coordination for Office Moves, Renovations, and Maintenance - Work with necessary service providers to schedule and sequence work for timely results. Processes service requests. Submits work requests to Facilities Management Group. Moves office furniture, equipment, and documents from one location to another Vehicle Maintenance Helps maintain a fleet of vehicles by coordinating vehicle maintenance, in accordance with the GSA maintenance schedule, GSA automotive mechanics, or commercial vehicle maintenance facilities
 

1. Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.

 

2. Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.

 

3. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

 

4. Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.

 

5. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

 

6. Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

0-2 years of related experience in logistics, traffic and/or supply chain management.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.
