Job Summary:
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of continuous improvement methodology throughout the Supply Chain. Defines implementation strategy and standards to create short term improvement and long term business success. Coordinates with Enterprise, Platform, and Plant Conagra Performance System (CPS) Leadership to drive sustainable processes and results. Coaches, trains and develops resources in the use of best practices across the enterprise. Defines and implements improvement and engagement measurements, and advanced problem solving tools and skills required for loss elimination. Identifies potential process implementation issues and develops plans to overcome. Mastery of CPS disciplines or significant skill and experience in leading operations change initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Development, maintenance and implementation of CPS methodology
Lead and coach others on developing a culture of continuous improvement
Development and roll out of training and development for various pillars
Ongoing identification, understanding and elimination of “Waste” & non-value added activity (NVA) across the Enterprise (Source/Make/Deliver)
Focused on end to end improvement of material and information flow
Position Qualifications:
Proven record of driving improvement & solving problems.
Lean, Six Sigma, TPM experience required
Expert in the use of lean, six sigma tools
Mastery of several TPM pillar disciplines
Experience with Line Event Data systems preferred
Ability to coach and influence Supply Chain senior leadership & plant managers.
Clear ability to relate to and motivate people
Excellent presentation, coaching & communication skills
Enjoys being close to operations (plants, warehouse, co-packers, etc)
Good project management skills
BS Engineering or Equivalent
10+ years of plant, operations, supply chain experience preferred with experience in director positions
7+ years of continuous improvement leadership with experience in a director position
Up to 50% travel working with plant sites and CPS resources
