Responsible for the accountability and tracking of Government furnished equipment and supplies.  Issues, receives, and inventories government property as directed.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities


Responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory and maintaining property accountability for all government-furnished equipment assigned to the Fort Wainwright MTC.

Conducts periodic accountability inventories as directed and prepares reports for submission to the site lead and government client.

Assists training and technical staff members as required.  Maintains stockages of expendable supplies and provides requisitions to the government client. Assists with maintenance of the MTC and reconfiguration of training TOCs and classrooms as/when required.  


Provides military subject matter expertise to assigned programs.


  1. Provides analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.
  2. Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.
  3. Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data.
  4. Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.
  5. Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.
  6. Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.
    1. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
    2. Participates in special projects as required.


    Mission Training Complex's Lead Instructor and SME for a specific Logistics system(s). Develops, organizes, and maintains a Programs of Instruction (POIs) and Lesson Plans (LP) for their assigned system(s) of responsibility that encompasses new operator and sustainment training for basic operator, system integration, and senior leader. Directly responsible for the quality of classroom instruction. Coordinates Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) simulations in support of training programs. Maintains training records, participant progress, and program effectiveness. Updates courses for currency and prepares presentations. Maintains current knowledge of relevant software and hardware applications. Conducts research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies. Monitors student survey and demographic data for completeness and accuracy. Responsible for maintaining technical proficiency with the software, and tactical proficiency with classroom presentations for multiple C4ISR systems to assist other individual level C4ISR training within the Mission Training Complex.


5-8 years of related inventory management experience.

Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.

.  Prefer 6-8 years military experience.  Requires working knowledge of Army supply and accountability systems; prefer 2-4 years experience in military logistics/supply position.   Must be physically capable of reconfiguring training TOCs and classrooms in support of training, which will require light-to-medium lifting, running network cables and moving furniture
