Outside the box. Above the Earth. Beyond our wildest dreams. Our engineers are creating new possibilities in space. And this includes doing so in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where we are seeking a Space Systems Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL). This position will be with Raytheon Saudi Arabia (RTN SA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company. RTN SA is a newly established company that will provide cyber, defense, and civil capabilities/solutions in Saudi Arabia across all domains—land, sea, air and space.
The Space Systems IPTL will plan and implement space-related technology transfer projects that support Vision 2030 objectives in Saudi Arabia and grow Raytheon business in Saudi Arabia. The Space Systems IPTL reports to the RTN SA chief operating officer in Riyadh with a secondary reporting responsibility to the International Space Systems director in Raytheon’s Space System organization, El Segundo, California. The Space Systems IPTL is responsible for identifying, developing, implementing and managing Vision 2030 technology transfer/localization projects to support competitive space programs in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include identifying localization opportunities, creating strategies and developing localization plans consistent with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives and proposal guidelines. This role partners with Saudi customers and suppliers, as well as Raytheon’s other US suppliers to develop differentiating localization projects that meet Saudi government objectives such that Raytheon wins competitive programs awarded by the Saudi government. The Space Systems IPTL will partner with RTN SA and International Space Systems program, finance, contracts, supply chain and estimating personnel to develop plans and estimates to support proposals. Operating with a large degree of independence, this position will also ensure effective technology transfer project implementation upon award on budget, on schedule and meeting contractual requirements. The Space Systems IPTL works with other RTN SA and International Space Systems cross-functional team mates to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for new or existing localization projects.
Because the Space Systems IPTL supports competitive pursuits in Saudi Arabia, this position will collaborate closely with the RTN SA business development team to foster close customer relationships to understand their technology transfer needs. This position will also work to understand the ongoing and expected localization projects of Raytheon’s competitors for these pursuits. Because this position works closely with Raytheon’s International Space product line and its US suppliers as necessary to identify and plan technology transfer projects, this position requires travel to the United States approximately 20% of the time.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
