Position Title:

IT Data Center Operator

Overview – IT Data Center Operator with emphasis on Software and Operating System Deployments

Responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices. Maintains, installs, upgrades and configures data systems, administers operating systems, and maintains basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and deployments. Under direct supervision, assists in monitoring, responding, configuring, installing, and repairing hardware and software deployment according to established procedures.

Responsibilities also include the use of Application and OS Deployment software.

Skills are typically through a high school diploma or equivalent and 1

years of experience.

The preference for this position is a candidate with college experience (resent Graduate or willing to take Internship) with or pursuing an IT related degree.

Daily Activities:

Monitor software request and incident queue within their area of concentration.

Evaluate and understand application delivery requirements, keeps the integrity of Software standards, monitors and troubleshoots the incidents.

Technical/Functional Expertise:

Research and suggest changes necessary to deliver high quality software and OS to global users.

A general working knowledge in the area of Microsoft Windows Products including Win10 and new operating systems to come.


Building cooperation among individuals and departments, sharing information and resources, and working to achieve group goals and outcomes.


Listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understandably, and actively seeking feedback. Be able to communicate status, issues, and impacts, with team, team leadership, relevant client sponsors and process owners.

The preferred skills for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.

Preferred Skills:

Troubleshooting skills to perform corrective action during acceptance testing in a global environment.

Technical writing skills to create documents associated with new processes.

Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Products.

Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance as necessary.
