GDIT is seeking a candidate who can support a multi-faceted role within a large IdAM software development and sustainment team. The primary responsibilities will be to support a Scrum Master and QA Test role. Other responsibilities such as assisting with general day-to-day project coordination will be part of the job responsibilities. Depending on the need, the ideal candidate will support these areas. Often, a hybrid of this responsibilities will be required.
The Scrum Master/Test Engineer will support a development/engineering team working on application integration of COTS products and custom IdAM solutions.
When assuming a Scrum Master role, the individual should know what tasks have been completed, what tasks have started, and any new tasks that have been discovered. He or she needs to raise awareness of dependencies and blockers that are impediments to the ongoing sprint.
When assuming a test engineer role, the individual will work with the development and engineering team on ensuring test cases and stories are properly written to ensure the requirements are being properly tested. When testing, identifying and tracking software defects until resolution.
The position has some programmatic responsibilities, such as creating status slides for the team, attending status meetings, taking notes and reporting status to upper management and product owners. As needed, at a minimum, the Scrum Master/Test Engineer will:
5-8 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.

Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
