Partner with sales, category marketing, and finance teams to drive non-commercial foodservice customer growth. Develops sales and broker plans and coordinates ongoing reviews to deliver annual operating plan objectives. Deliver sales and trade performance reporting and analytics for key foodservice customers.
Responsibilities
Maintain, enter, and modify data timely and accurately to create, track, and report on non-commercial & key distributor foodservice customers’ sales performance and trade spending.
Manage trade promotion programs for key foodservice customers to assure contracts comply across multiple trade systems.
Train and act as point of contact for Conagra’s trade management and reporting tools.
Prepare support material and trade analyses for key customer contracts and bids.
Support vendor relationships and ensure the systems and services they provide operate effectively.
Drive organizational process improvements leading to cross-functional efficiencies and bottom line growth.
Report on trade spend KPIs and ultimately ensure sales promotions and marketing spend delivers positive return on investment.
Lead non-commercial customer trade spend audits, to protect our trade spend.
Qualifications
BA / BS degree.
5+ years of professional experience. Food manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
Sales support and sales reporting experience.
Demonstrated strong analytical experience.
Ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate high work volume according to financial magnitude.
Effective communication skills across multiple business functions.
Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers, peers, and vendors.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including leveraging analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful strategies and solutions.
Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
Experience with SAP BI, Blacksmith, Tibersoft, SalesForce.com, and web based pricing systems preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
