Basic Qualifications
The SIGINT/DNI Network Analyst must have:
5 years of network analysis experience to include non-IP networks
5 years of experience with telecommunications, network management systems and network management protocols
Basic data processing skills (scripting in PERL, PYTHON, etc. or equivalent capability)
Experience using Wireshark and/or Renoir or similar protocol analysis product
Experience in researching and using telecommunications standards (ITU-T Recommendations and IETF RFCs)
Strong teaming skills to work with other technical disciplines to include signals analysts, protocol analysts, hardware developers, and intelligence analysts
Strong technical writing skills to articulate requirements to ANR developers as well as developers in other organizations including vendors
Experience with NSA data repositories BLACKPEARL, xKEYSCORE, NKB, etc.
Experience in operating collection front-end systems such as the AST-557, Packet Raptor, AST-128, etc.
Ability to diagnose a network protocol using the outputs of standard NSA signals and protocol analysis tools (WIRESHARK, DVT, TAROTCARD, etc.)
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred
Clearance Requirements:
TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a SIGINT/DNI Network Analyst. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
Representative Duties and Tasks:
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Conducts advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to profile target networks and their activities
Develops techniques to gain target information
Applies analytic techniques against metadata collected from communications systems in order to characterize networks, reviews relevant content carried in network communications, and accurately reports vulnerabilities identified from metadata analysis
Organizes resources and information in support of mission and operational requirements
Selects collection of data required for analysis
Accommodates last minute requirements and has the flexibility to respond to ever-evolving quick-reaction capability requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Utilizes knowledge of target technologies and digital networks and the applications on them to determine the operating posture of the network
Technology savvy and flexible enough to rapidly shift from one data collection to another
Basic internet research skills and an understanding of telecommunications and computer network communications fundamentals are required
Ability to organize resources and information in support of mission and operational requirements, accommodate last minute requirements and has the flexibility to respond to ever-evolving quick-reaction capability requirements
Has participated in Analyst-to­ Analyst exchanges, seminars, conferences, or others as requested
Preferred Degree and Experience:
Understanding and knowledge of the customer and their mission
