Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including change management, staff supervision, and communication activities.

 
 
  1. Creates and executes change management strategies to support changes required by the command center.
  2. Supports the design, development, delivery and management of change communications.
  3. Supervises assigned communications professionals, including subordinate managers, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
  4. Directs program activities to meet enterprise objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. 
  5. Conducts impact analyses, assesses change readiness, and identifies stakeholders.
  6. Assures quality of program deliverables for the change management levers.
  7. Evaluates and ensures user readiness for change adoption.
  8. Coordinates efforts with other specialists throughout the program to achieve change adoption. 
  9. Develops, reviews, and approves change management plans, schedules, and other program documents. 
  10. Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
  11. Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  12. Works with Federal Student Aid, and Business partners to ensure that timely and quality services are provided to each contact.
  13. Analyzes engineering change proposals to determine the effect on the overall system.
  14. Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates.
  15. Performs various audits and documents results.
  16. Monitors needs from the prime contractor, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that the applications of customer standards and requirements for the statement of work are properly implemented.
  17. Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Effective management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously. 
  • Effective communication skills. 
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
