We are seeking a Logistics Management Specialist to support an upcoming training, fielding, and sustainment for assigned weapon system.

Additionally, lead the effort for required material release(s), as well as, collecting and assessing data from field operations/sustainment with the intent to provide critical feedback to leadership on performance of both the system, the product support strategy, and recommendations on future modifications/upgrades.

Responsibilities

:

Serve as the lead for all logistics related aspects of training, fielding, and sustaining assigned weapon system. This includes but is not limited to reviewing CDRLs from the contractor, maintenance reports from FSRs/units, and tracking assets pending repair/shipment/upgrade.

Individual will provide value added feedback on contract deliverables as well as engage regularly with the customer to ensure systems are operational/maintained.

Responsible for the fielding of assigned weapon systems and ensure proper chain of custody documentation is drafted and signed by the appropriate individuals.

This includes the potential for conducting transfers in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), as well as, the designated APSR.

Develop relations with internal & external PdM SURW stakeholders. This includes but is not limited to PdM SURW Team, INSCOM and associated units, TRADOC Capability Manager (TCM), PM MAE, CECOM ILSC, CECOM SEC, and program contractors.

Ensure pertinent program information is shared with appropriate individuals within a timely manner in order for effective planning & decision making.

Serve as the lead for property accountability of Government furnished property, as well as programmatic property within the designated Army Property System of Record.

Keep all PdM and PM staff apprised of pertinent program information via a weekly update, as well as, e-mail, face to face meetings, program reports, trip summaries, and telephone conversations.

Provide value added input and/or lead in the development of key documents for the program, to include but not limited to MOA, MOUs, PWS, acquisition strategies, CDRLs, lifecycle sustainment plan/annexes, technical manuals and other applicable documents.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of required experience.

Must have fielding

and material release process experience.

Property accountability experience is required for this role.

An active secret level security clearance is required.

Must have experience using the Defense property and Accountability System (DPAS) or comparable systems.

Must have applied knowledge of property management and Life Cycle Requirements.

Experience coordinating the Government Response for contract deliverables (e.g. formal CDRL's and non-formal CDRL data products).

Experience providing oversight for all aspects of Contractor's Logistics Support to ensure contract (PWS and CDRL) requirements are satisfied.

Experience supporting Engineering IPT's, Program Reviews, etc.
