The Business Analyst will directly support the Department of the Navy (DON) Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) located at the Washington Navy Yard. The candidate will join an existing contract support team who is providing a wide range of human resources, project management, data analysis, communications and administrative services to support the OCHR mission which is to provide technical leadership to the entire DON HR community for the execution and oversight of HR policy, program management and HR systems.



Provide administrative support to include:

  • Maintaining program calendars and scheduling meetings
  • Writing and preparing memorandums and correspondence packages
  • Writing and sending administrative e-mails and tracking responses and summarizing response results
  • Support (below) meetings through logistics coordination
    • HR & EEO DON Leader meeting
    • Senior Executive Seminar
    • PRA Ceremony
    • Labor Negotiation Seminar
    • Civilian Personnel Law Seminar
    • Bridging the Gap

Provide additional support for these events which includes but is not limited to:

  • Draft/Produce POA&M
  • Manage Reservations
  • Provide as need on-site support
  • Draft/Produce program
  • Draft/Produce agenda
  • Prepare email messaging
  • Provide printed materials/collating (to include program, invitations, signage)
  • Operate media equipment
  • Track RSVPs
  • Distribute read ahead summaries
  • Produce status reports
  • Draft/Produce show flows/sequence of events
  • Draft/Produce senior leader briefings
  • Provide seating charts (name tags/cards/tents)

Provide program management support for various departments throughout the Office of Civilian Human Resources. This includes assisting with the portal and SharePoint point updates in the following areas:

  • Policies, Guidance
  • Programs
  • HR/EEO Community
  • Emergency Information


  • 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office suite of products to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance preferred

Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
