We’re looking for a diverse and dynamic Software Engineer to join our one global team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, to design, build, and maintain advanced high-capacity systems that process modern high-speed communications for the US intelligence community.
You will work by day on cutting-edge technology for RAST, which develops systems to provide integrated sensor and signal processing products in support of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance that protect your family, your nation and enhance global security, while in your free time you explore the historical, cultural, sporting and outdoor activities that abound in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area and the nearby Atlantic Ocean. The successful candidate will work with experienced engineering staff to develop and deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions for the protection of our country.
•2+ years of Software Engineering experience
•Programming experience in C/C++ and Java
•Experience with object-oriented design methodology
•Experience working on all phases of the Software development lifecycle
•Experience with GUI-type frameworks (e.g. Qt, Java Swing, Android, o iOS)
•Experience with SQL
•Experience with CI tools (e.g. Jenkins/Hudson), Test Driven Development, Git or Subversion
•Experience with at least one of the following: Ruby, Python, Perl, Linux/Unix shell scripting, or similar
•Working knowledge of Linux as a development platform
•Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
•Experience and/or knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP
•Understanding of telecommunications, data communications systems, wireless communications concepts and/or signal processing fundamentals
Required Education: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related STEM degree, with 2 years of prior relevant experience
Preferred Education: A Masters degree in Computer Science, or related STEM degree, with 1 year of prior
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
