Contractor Maintenance Technician (CMT) personnel are responsible for performing the full range of required maintenance support tasks and services for the Fire Units during System Integration and Check-Out (SICO). The CMT personnel also provide assistance to the SICO Team during unpacking, inventory, inspection, repair and check out of the Major End Items (MEIs). Additional responsibilities include performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on all of the major end items. The CMT will perform the fault isolation of system and end item malfunctions using Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), manual maintenance procedures and other Patriot test equipment and special tools. They will also perform diagnosis of electronic problems between the hardware, software and Battery Replaceable Units (BRUs) using a variety of electronic repair and fault isolation procedures such as system diagnostics, unit self checks, BITE, and tools and test equipment. This position is located in Qatar.

Required Skills: Demonstrated experience in the technical support and operations, at the organizational level, of the Information Coordination Central (ICC), Engagement Control Station (ECS), Radar Set (RS), Communication Relay Group (CRG), Antenna Mast Group (AMG), and Launching Station. Experienced in using ECS troubleshooting software aids such as Status Monitor. Provides technical assistance in maintaining the Patriot power generation equipment, communications equipment and assists in missile handling operations as required. Knowledge and experience in the utilization of common industry external test equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum and digital analyzers. . Participates in On–the-Job training programs, and assists in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards. Identifies faulty work practices and demonstrates proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Demonstrated direct experience with organizational level maintenance on Patriot Systems. Must have successfully completed the following Courses: U.S. Army Patriot Operator and System Mechanic Course for MOS; 24T/14E, 140E or an equivalent course of instruction conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Air Defense School or the Patriot Missile System Contractor. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in an extreme heat desert environment. A Secret Security Clearance is required.
Desired Skills: Experienced field engineer with military training in Patriot Configuration III Air Defense systems at the organizational level. Knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of Remote Launch Communication Upgrade (RLCEU). Fiber Optic/ RF cable troubleshooting and repair. Understanding and knowledge of military communications systems and encryption devices. Experienced working and communicating with a Middle East customer.
Required Education: BS Electrical Engineering or Applied Science with 4 years of related experience. Will substitute experience for education (must have at least twelve (10) years of experience without a degree).
