ManTech is seeking a Windows Server Engineer to support the Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISRE) in Quantico, VA.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide reliable SCI network access to deployed Marine Corps units around the world. The selected candidate, assisted by a project team and government SMEs, will configure, integrate, test and deploy small form fit servers operating on an SCI network. This will include integrating software in small, form-factor servers, troubleshoot any issues, and training users on its operation.
An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required (In JPAS)
•Interface with users to understand system operational and accreditation requirements and objectives
•Integrate COTS/GOTS hardware and software as needed
•Conduct software integration, troubleshooting and testing as needed.
•Provide support for system accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO).
•Support the Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense organization to support system compliance.
•Assist in developing documentation necessary for deploying, training, and maintaining the system.
•Support user training in the operation of deployable servers.
•Provide user support as needed.
•Provide technical expertise for Tier III service requests.
•CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required
•Other related duties as required.
•Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field) and six years’ experience or Associates Degree and 4 years’ experience or High School Diploma and 10 years’ experience.
•Must have DOD8570 requirements for IAT II
•Experience with Windows Server and its roles and services.
•Must have two (2) years’ experience with at least three (3) of the following:
- Requirements definition
- Modular Testing
- Formulating design methodology
- Documentation origination
- Systems integration and testing to verify required performance
- Assessment of change proposals for technical merit
- Database design and development
•Excellent written and oral communication skill
•Knowledge of standard DoD IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
•Knowledge of systems development lifecycle, systems engineering principles, network/systems design and implementation, DoD 5000, virtualization and cloud technologies.
•Support to tactical SATCOM programs.
•Experience with Virtual Desktop Solutions
•Experience using Solarwinds
•Experience using HyperV
•Experience using Visio
•Knowledge of CMMI, ISO 9000 and/or AGILE
•Prior military information technology or intelligence experience a plus
